"the walking dead" is an amazing graphic novel. It follows a group of char through a zombie apocalypse. If u were to only follow one comic in ur life it should be this one

I watched season one recently of the walking dead, and became interested in trying out the comic. I stumbled across this app by chance, and am now hooked! Cant stop reading! Going 2 Bermuda soon, and now I can read this while Im there! Great series, recommend that you buy packages that have 6 comics for $5.99 in app purchase- you pay for three, and get six! However the app itself (how the app runs) is not so great. It takes about nine minutes for all of the information to load (at random times, not all the time) and the screen is frozen until then. Please fix this bug!

Life this series. The comics keep me interested. Cant wait for season 2 on AMC.

Just finished season 1 of the tv series and liked it so much I thought Id try the comics. Theyre really great so far and Im looking forward to reading more and more. Great to have the first issue for free to check out. Loved the interface when reading the comic, very slick and fun to use. Really wish I could try this out on an iPad, its good on the iPhone but iPad would be perfect. Edit: On the iPad, its absolutely gorgeous. I finally caught up to all the issues and Im blown away. The writing and plot twists and characters and setting and... what a fantastic read. Right from issue #1 I was hooked. Season 2 starts soon on AMC, the tv show rocks, check it out! Only problem now that Ive caught up (thats 88 issues!) is the wait for every month for a new issue to come out is painful!! I could read this on a weekly basis.

The prices for the full comics are less than the store prices, and now I am always up-to-date on the newest issues because this app always updates with the newest issue right there when you opens the app. Great for a true TWD fan like me. Paper comics are still the best, but this is the best alternative to them.

Wow I buy a comic it loses my account I buy another one and it says I never bought it. The tv show was good though

Download app. Select free comic. Find it “my comics” and select it. “Read” flashes on the screen, then changes to a down-arrow (presumably meaning “download”). Every time.

Same problem -running iOS 5.01 downloaded app, tried to download and install free comic. Flash and nothing, comic doesnt download and I cant read it. Not going to chance spending money on the other books when the free one fails so bad. Fix it please, then I might buy something.

Works great. Excellent buy. Dont have to worry about buying large hard copies.

For everyone complaining that it isnt working, just create an account and sign in after confirming the activation link in the email they send you. This resolved my issue and it started downloading to read. Tested on iPhone 4 and new iPad 3rd gen.

And yes I did register. If this app cant deliver the free issue, what makes them think Im going to pay for any of them? If it gets fixed, I MIGHT try again...

You can easily download these online and put them in a picture folder. Doesnt cost a thing.

If u can afford to pay for all of them, its a much easier way than going to the store and buying each one. Waste of paper as well. So many pros to this. Have a new section to separate the comics u buy from the rest. Its a pain jumping thru the whole list to find which one ur on

These arent the real comics. I have three and these arent even close to them. Dont buy. Absolute waste of time

New HD books look amazing on the new iPad. I bought the volumes though instead off individual issues. Any chance youll update those to HD as well?

I purchased issue 100 of The Walking Dead through this app. I keep getting a download error when it tries to download. So yeah... Dont buy stuff through this useless app.
